About

Pak Bill Calculator is a free tool for Pakistani households to estimate electricity bills, gas bills, and solar panel return on investment — all without sharing any personal data.

Why we built this

Electricity and gas bills in Pakistan are notoriously hard to predict. NEPRA slab tariffs mean your rate per unit changes as your usage rises, and most people significantly underestimate what their appliances cost to run. On top of that, load shedding has pushed millions of households to consider solar — but figuring out the right system size and payback period requires maths that most people don't have time for.

We built Pak Bill Calculator to answer three questions every Pakistani household should be able to answer: How much will my electricity bill be this month? How much is my gas costing me? And is solar actually worth it for my household?

How it works

All calculations happen directly in your browser. You enter your appliances and usage times, and the app computes your estimated bill using the current NEPRA slab tariffs for electricity or the SNGPL/SSGC slab tariffs for gas. Nothing is sent to a server. Your data never leaves your device.

The solar ROI calculator uses Pakistan's average solar irradiance (around 5.3 kWh/m²/day), a standard performance ratio, and current installation cost estimates to tell you how large a system you need and how long it will take to pay back.
